Easy Pan Fried Tofu With Gochujang Sauce
First, drain the tofu and gently press it on a kitchen or paper towel. Many baked tofu recipes swear by pressing for 30 minutes or more, but in my opinion this step isn’t necessary. This method is very fast, and the result is delicious!
Then cut it into 1-inch cubes and spread it out in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle the cubes with olive oil, tamari or soy sauce and sriracha. If desired, you can add cornstarch to make it extra crunchy. Either way is good, but I prefer mine without the cornstarch. The corners of the cubes will be golden brown and caramelized, while the centers will remain nice and chewy.
Finally, bake! Transfer the baking sheet to a 425 degree oven and bake until the cubes are golden brown around the edges. Enjoy!
